The 4×3m pergola defines the space, while the large rattan seating arrangement gives up to six guests a proper place to relax. The convertible high table can be used for food and drinks earlier in the evening before being changed into a fire-pit setting when conditions and installation requirements permit.

Your private outdoor screening room

The aluminium pergola turns an open patio into a dedicated entertainment space.

Adjustable roof louvres help you manage sunlight and shelter, while pull-down blinds on three sides provide additional privacy from neighbouring gardens and exposed boundaries.

The blinds may also reduce some surrounding light once evening begins, although they should not be expected to create the complete darkness of an indoor cinema.

Built-in LED roof lighting provides practical illumination while guests arrive, find their seats or collect refreshments. For the best projected picture, the roof lights should be dimmed or switched off during viewing.

The integrated electric heater helps make cooler evenings more comfortable without relying entirely on the fire-pit table.

Hisense M2TUK Pro 4K Triple-Laser Projector

At the centre of the Signature bundle is the Hisense M2TUK Pro, also known as the Hisense M2 Pro.

This compact laser projector produces a 4K UHD image at a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160. It uses Hisense’s pure triple-colour laser system, generating red, green and blue light independently to provide a wide colour range and more precise colour reproduction.

Hisense specifies a projection range from approximately 65 inches to 200 inches, making the projector suitably matched to the included 120-inch screen.

4K picture quality

The M2 Pro uses DLP projection and Hisense’s AI 4K Clarity processing to create a detailed 4K image.

It supports:

• Wide-colour-gamut content

Dolby Vision and HDR processing improve the reproduction of highlights, shadows and colour when compatible content is being viewed.

Picture performance will still depend on the source material, screen quality, ambient light and projector positioning.

Triple-colour laser technology

Unlike a conventional lamp projector, the M2 Pro uses separate red, green and blue laser light sources.

Hisense states that the projector can reproduce approximately 110% of the BT.2020 colour space, providing vivid colours and a wider colour range than many conventional portable projectors.

The laser system also eliminates the need to replace a traditional projector lamp during ordinary ownership.

1,300-lumen brightness

The Hisense M2 Pro has a stated brightness of 1,300 lumens.

This is a substantial improvement over the TCL C1 projector supplied with the other cinema packages, but it remains best suited to evening or low-light outdoor viewing.

The best results will normally be achieved:

• After sunset

• With pergola lighting switched off

• With nearby garden lights reduced

• With the screen positioned away from streetlights

• With direct light prevented from falling across the screen

It will not provide television-like contrast in full daylight. Even a brighter laser projector will lose visible contrast when used against strong sunlight or uncontrolled ambient lighting.

Optical zoom and flexible positioning

The M2 Pro provides optical zoom across an approximately 1.0–1.3:1 throw range.

Optical zoom allows the image size to be adjusted without relying entirely on digital resizing, helping preserve 4K clarity when fitting the projected image to the screen.

The projector also incorporates an adjustable gimbal, allowing the projection angle to be changed without a separate tilting bracket.

Positioning for a 120-inch image

A 120-inch 16:9 image is approximately 266cm wide.

Based on the projector’s 1.0–1.3:1 throw range, the required lens-to-screen distance will be approximately:

• Minimum: 2.66m

• Maximum: 3.46m

This gives considerably more flexibility than a fixed-throw projector.

Within a 4×3m pergola, the screen should normally be positioned across the 3m end, with the projector using the longer 4m dimension.

The precise arrangement must still account for:

The projector may need to be positioned behind or between sections of the seating arrangement to achieve the required distance.

VIDAA smart streaming

The projector uses Hisense’s VIDAA U9 smart platform.

This allows many streaming services to be accessed directly without adding a separate streaming stick.

Application availability may change according to the provider, software version and location. Streaming subscriptions, accounts and internet access are not included.

Built-in cinematic sound

The M2 Pro includes two 10W speakers, providing 20W of total stated sound output.

Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X processing help create a broader and more immersive soundstage than a basic single-speaker portable projector.

For many garden film nights, the integrated speakers may provide sufficient volume without adding a separate audio system.

Open-air sound is affected by wind, neighbouring noise, distance and the orientation of the projector. Customers who require louder or more evenly distributed sound can add a compatible external audio system through the projector’s available connectivity.

The included wootfairy projection screen provides a 120-inch diagonal viewing area in a 16:9 widescreen format.

The visible screen area measures approximately:

The complete assembled product is listed at approximately 2.7m wide and 2m high, although final dimensions should be checked against the instructions supplied with the screen.

Its folding design allows it to be stored between viewing sessions rather than permanently fixed to the pergola.

Screen fit inside the pergola

The screen is approximately 2.7m wide before allowing for operational clearance.

A nominal 3m pergola width does not necessarily provide 3m of clear internal space. The pergola posts, blind tracks and structural components will reduce the available opening.

The exact clear distance between the pergola posts must therefore be checked before ordering.

The screen should not interfere with:

• Pull-down blind operation

• Pergola posts or fixings

• The integrated heater

• Entrance and exit routes

• The projector beam

• The fire-pit exclusion area

Wind and screen stability

A 120-inch screen presents a large surface area to the wind.

All supplied ropes, anchors and weighting accessories should be used where suitable for the installation surface.

The screen must not be used during strong winds, gusty weather, heavy rain or snow. It should be dismantled and stored in a dry location after use rather than left permanently assembled beneath the pergola.

Aweather NR0111 six-seat fire-pit lounge set

The Signature bundle includes the Aweather NR0111 six-seat rattan furniture set.

The set comprises:

• One three-person straight sofa

• One three-person corner sofa

• One convertible fire-pit high table

• Removable seat and back cushions

The sofas can be arranged to create an L-shaped cinema lounge or separated to suit the available space and preferred viewing position.

Furniture construction

The set uses hand-woven PE rattan over a powder-coated steel frame.

The manufacturer describes the rattan as suitable for outdoor use, while the removable cushion covers incorporate zips for easier cleaning. Hand washing is recommended for the cushion covers.

The fabric is designed to resist light spills and splashes, but it should not be treated as permanently waterproof. Cushions should be stored indoors during prolonged rain and when the furniture is not being used.

Convertible fire-pit high table

The central table can be used in two configurations.

Dining and drinks mode

With the fire-pit section covered, the slatted tabletop provides a raised surface for drinks, snacks and casual outdoor meals.

Fire-pit mode

When the cover is removed, the table incorporates a gas fire-pit burner surrounded by decorative fire glass.

A clear glass wind guard helps protect and contain the flame, while an access door beneath the table provides concealed storage for the gas cylinder.

Simple controls allow the flame level to be adjusted in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Critical fire-pit safety requirements

The fire-pit table is an outdoor gas appliance.

It must only be operated in a properly ventilated outdoor environment and strictly in accordance with the Aweather instruction manual.

Check the supplied Aweather manual against your exact pergola height and layout before operating the fire pit beneath the pergola.

Where operation beneath the pergola is permitted by the manufacturer:

• The roof louvres must be fully open

• Privacy blinds must remain raised

• Airflow around the pergola must not be obstructed

• The manufacturer’s overhead and side clearances must be maintained

• The flame must remain away from the screen, projector and heater

• Blankets, cushions and other combustible items must be kept clear

• Children and pets must be supervised

• The fire pit must never be left unattended

• The gas supply must be turned off after use

Gas-powered outdoor heaters and fires can create carbon monoxide where ventilation is inadequate. Gas Safe Register advises that gas heaters and similar appliances must remain outside in fresh air to prevent carbon-monoxide accumulation.

Do not operate the fire pit with all three privacy blinds lowered or the roof closed.

The gas cylinder and any fuel required for operation are not included unless specifically confirmed in your order documentation.

Rug and fire-pit positioning

The included outdoor rug must not automatically be positioned beneath the fire-pit table.

Keep the rug outside the fire pit’s required clearance area unless both the rug manufacturer and Aweather manual expressly confirm that the arrangement is safe.

The same applies to:

Baridi DH13 drinks fridge

The package includes the Baridi by Dellonda DH13, a black glass-front drinks fridge.

Fridge positioning

The Baridi DH13 is a freestanding under-counter drinks fridge. It is not advertised as a weatherproof outdoor refrigerator.

It must be installed in a dry, sheltered and adequately ventilated location where it is protected from:

• Rain

• Wind-driven moisture

• Standing water

• Condensation

• Fire-pit heat

• Projector exhaust

• Direct hot-tub or drinks splashes

• Temperatures outside its operating range

A louvred pergola with pull-down blinds is not a completely enclosed or weatherproof room.

The fridge may therefore need to be positioned inside the house, within a properly enclosed garden room or in another suitably protected position.

Blankets and outdoor rug

Two outdoor blankets provide additional comfort when the temperature drops.

The outdoor rug visually defines the cinema lounge and creates a softer finish beneath the seating area.

Both items should be kept dry and moved into suitable storage after use unless their individual manufacturer instructions expressly permit permanent outdoor exposure.

They must always remain safely separated from the fire-pit flame and hot surfaces.

Planning the complete layout

This is a substantial bundle and requires careful space planning.

The arrangement needs to accommodate:

• A screen approximately 2.7m wide

• A six-seat sofa configuration

• A high fire-pit table

• Between approximately 2.66m and 3.46m of projector throw

• A freestanding drinks fridge

• Safe access routes

• Screen stabilisation

• Fridge ventilation

• Pergola-post clearance

The quoted 4×3m pergola size represents its nominal external footprint. The usable internal area will be smaller.

Before ordering, check:

1. The clear width between the pergola posts.

2. The exact position of the blind tracks.

3. The assembled furniture dimensions.

4. The required projector position.

5. The fire-pit manufacturer’s overhead clearances.

6. The fridge’s protected installation position.

7. Safe cable and gas-hose routes.

Depending on the final layout, not every component may remain permanently positioned beneath the pergola at the same time.

Power, gas and internet requirements

The projector, fridge, pergola heater and roof lighting require suitable electrical supplies.

The installation should include:

• RCD-protected power

• Outdoor-rated sockets where required

• Suitable protection from moisture

• No trailing cables across walkways

• Adequate electrical capacity

• Reliable Wi-Fi coverage

• Safe separation between electrical equipment and the fire pit

Any new outdoor sockets or fixed electrical work should be completed by a competent electrician.

The fire-pit table must use only the gas type, cylinder, regulator and hose specified in its instruction manual. Connections must be checked for leaks before operation.

Weather protection

The projector is not a weatherproof product.

It must be brought into a dry indoor location after use and protected from rain, condensation, damp surfaces, frost and extreme temperatures.

The screen should be dismantled during unsuitable weather. Furniture cushions, blankets and the rug should also be stored indoors or in a suitable dry storage unit.

The fridge must remain in a properly protected and ventilated location.

Installation

Installation is not included as standard unless specifically stated in your order.

Pergola assembly will normally require:

• At least two capable adults

• Suitable tools

• A solid and level base

• Accurate measurement and levelling

• Secure anchoring

The rattan furniture requires assembly, and the screen must be correctly erected and stabilised.

The projector must be positioned on a secure surface with access to mains electricity and Wi-Fi.

Professional advice is strongly recommended when planning the fire-pit position beneath or close to the pergola.
