Your Signature outdoor dining room

The 4×3m aluminium pergola defines the dining area as a dedicated garden room.

Adjustable roof louvres help you manage sunlight and shelter, while pull-down blinds on three sides provide additional privacy from neighbouring properties and exposed garden boundaries.

Built-in LED roof lighting illuminates the table and serving area after sunset, allowing dinner and conversation to continue without temporary lamps or trailing decorative lights.

The integrated heater helps make the dining area more comfortable when the evening temperature falls.

The pergola is intended primarily to shelter and define the dining space. It must not automatically be treated as a safe enclosure for operating a large gas barbecue.

CosmoGrill Platinum 8-Burner 6+2 Gas Barbecue

The centrepiece of the Signature cooking station is the CosmoGrill Platinum 8-Burner 6+2 Gas Barbecue.

Its configuration comprises six independently controlled main burners, one infrared side-searing burner and one rear burner intended for rotisserie-style cooking.

Together, the eight stainless-steel burners provide a stated combined heat output of approximately 27.7kW.

This gives the barbecue the capacity to handle larger quantities of food while maintaining different cooking temperatures across the grill.

Six independently controlled main burners

The six main burners allow the cooking surface to be divided into multiple temperature zones.

This makes it possible to:

• Sear food over high direct heat

• Cook vegetables and delicate ingredients more gently

• Prepare several dishes at once

• Keep cooked food away from the strongest flame

• Create an indirect cooking zone

Infrared side-searing burner

Cast-iron cooking grates

The principal grill uses cast-iron cooking grates designed to retain and distribute heat across the cooking surface.

The centre section can be removed to accommodate compatible accessories such as a pizza stone, pan or alternative cooking insert.

Only accessories with suitable dimensions and heat ratings should be used.

The grates should be cleaned, dried and maintained according to the manufacturer’s guidance to help prevent corrosion and preserve their cooking surface.

Cooking and warming space

Critical BBQ positioning and ventilation

The CosmoGrill Platinum is a powerful outdoor gas appliance and must only be operated in a properly ventilated open-air location.

A pergola with a roof and three lowered blinds can restrict ventilation and allow heat, smoke and combustion gases to accumulate.

Gas Safe Register warns that both gas and solid-fuel barbecues can create a risk of carbon-monoxide poisoning when they are not used or maintained correctly.

Before operating the barbecue:

• Fully open the pergola roof louvres

• Raise all three privacy blinds

• Maintain unrestricted airflow around the appliance

• Follow every overhead, rear and side-clearance requirement in the CosmoGrill manual

• Keep the barbecue away from pergola posts and blind material

• Keep the infrared burner away from furniture and walkways

• Maintain safe separation from the integrated heater

• Keep the gas cylinder upright and correctly positioned

• Keep the gas hose away from heat and pedestrian routes

The exact pergola material, roof height, internal dimensions and heater position must be considered before deciding where the barbecue can be operated.

In many installations, the correct arrangement will be to keep the dining table beneath the pergola and move the barbecue to the fully open edge or completely outside the structure before lighting it.

Gas supply requirements

Use only the fuel type, cylinder, regulator and hose arrangement specified in the CosmoGrill manual.

Before each use:

• Inspect the hose for cracking, wear and heat damage

• Check that all connections are correctly secured

• Complete the recommended soapy-water leak test

• Keep the gas cylinder upright

The Baridi DH13 does not have a stated outdoor weatherproof or IP rating.

It must be placed in a dry, suitably ventilated and weather-protected location.

Protect the fridge from:

Suitable prepared surfaces may include:

Grass, soft ground, loose gravel and uneven paving may not provide adequate stability.

The pergola must be securely anchored in accordance with its foundation and wind-loading instructions.

Electrical requirements

The pergola heater, roof lighting and drinks fridge require appropriate electrical supplies.

The installation should provide:
