Your outdoor dining room

The aluminium pergola defines the space as a dedicated garden room.

Adjustable roof louvres help you manage light and shelter throughout the day. Pull-down blinds on three sides provide additional privacy from neighbouring properties and exposed garden boundaries.

Built-in LED roof lighting illuminates the table after sunset, while the integrated heater helps make the dining area more comfortable as the evening temperature falls.

The pergola is intended to improve the dining environment. It must not be treated as a sealed cooking enclosure, and the barbecue’s ventilation and heat-clearance requirements must always take priority.

The CosmoGrill Original 4+1 Gas Barbecue

The centre of the cooking setup is the CosmoGrill Original 4+1 Gas Barbecue.

It combines four main burners with a separate side burner, allowing several foods to be cooked at different temperatures while sauces or side dishes are prepared alongside them.

The barbecue has a stated total output of approximately 9.3kW, a cooking surface of approximately 1,952cm² and an assembled size of approximately 126cm wide, 50cm deep and 103cm high.

Four independently controlled main burners

The four main burners allow separate heat zones to be created across the cooking area.

This makes it possible to:

• Sear meat over high heat

• Cook vegetables or delicate foods more gently

• Move cooked food away from direct flame

• Use indirect cooking techniques

• Prepare several dishes simultaneously

Flame tamers sit above the burners to distribute heat and reduce direct exposure to grease and food drippings.

Separate side burner

The additional side burner provides a separate cooking position for suitable pots and pans.

It can be used for warming sauces, preparing vegetables or heating accompaniments without occupying space on the principal barbecue grates.

The side burner must only be used with cookware and operating methods permitted by the CosmoGrill instructions.

Warming rack and lid thermometer

A raised warming rack provides space for cooked food, bread or items that require gentler heat.

The barbecue lid incorporates a temperature gauge, allowing the internal cooking temperature to be monitored without repeatedly opening the hood and releasing heat.

Integrated lower storage

The enclosed lower cabinet provides convenient space for suitable barbecue utensils and accessories.

It should not be used for combustible materials, aerosols, cleaning chemicals or spare gas cylinders unless the manufacturer’s instructions expressly permit that use.

The gas bottle should be positioned beside the barbecue rather than stored beneath it while the appliance is being used.

Critical BBQ positioning and ventilation

The CosmoGrill is an outdoor gas appliance and must only be operated in a properly ventilated open-air position.

The barbecue should be placed on a flat, non-flammable surface and kept at least one metre from combustible materials.

A louvred pergola with privacy blinds must not automatically be treated as a suitable barbecue enclosure.

Before lighting the barbecue:

• Fully open the pergola roof louvres

• Raise all three privacy blinds

• Maintain unrestricted airflow

• Keep the barbecue away from pergola posts and blind material

• Maintain the manufacturer’s required clearances

• Keep the barbecue separated from the integrated heater

• Position the gas cylinder upright beside the appliance

• Keep the hose away from hot surfaces and walkways

• Never leave the barbecue unattended

• Do not allow smoke or combustion gases to accumulate beneath the roof

Depending on the pergola’s construction, internal dimensions and heater position, the barbecue may need to be moved to the fully open edge or completely outside the pergola while it is operating.

The pergola can still function as a sheltered dining room while the barbecue is used immediately outside it.

Gas supply requirements

The barbecue must be used only with the gas type, regulator, hose and cylinder arrangement specified by CosmoGrill.

Before operation:

• Check the gas hose for cracks, wear or heat damage

• Confirm that connections are secure

• Complete the recommended soapy-water leak test

• Keep the cylinder upright and stable

• Position the cylinder away from heat

• Turn off the gas supply after cooking

• Never use a naked flame to locate a leak

A gas cylinder and fuel are not included as standard.

ROMANTICIST BBQ tool set

The included ROMANTICIST barbecue tool set provides a broad collection of cooking, serving and cleaning accessories in a portable aluminium storage case.

The listed accessories include:

The main utensils use stainless-steel construction and provide the principal tools required for grilling, turning, checking and serving food.

The thermometer, storage case and any specialist components should be cleaned and stored according to their individual instructions rather than automatically being placed in a dishwasher.

Baridi DH13 drinks fridge

The bundle includes the Baridi by Dellonda DH13, a black under-counter drinks fridge with a glass-front door.

Its 85-litre gross size provides approximately 80 litres of usable internal capacity. Depending on the arrangement of shelves and containers, it can accommodate up to approximately 110 standard 330ml cans.

Important fridge positioning

The DH13 is an under-counter beverage fridge and does not have a stated outdoor weatherproof or IP rating.

It must be positioned in a dry, ventilated and properly weather-protected location.

Protect the appliance from:

• Rain and wind-driven moisture

• Standing water

• Condensation

• Direct barbecue heat

• Hot grease or smoke

• The pergola heater

• Drinks being spilled into electrical components

• Temperatures outside its operating conditions

A pergola with a louvred roof and blinds is not a fully enclosed or weatherproof room.

Depending on the intended layout, the fridge may need to be positioned inside the house, in a properly enclosed garden room or within another suitable dry area immediately beside the pergola.

Do not place the fridge inside a tightly fitted cabinet unless the required ventilation clearances can be maintained.

The Fellie dining set for six

The bundle includes The Fellie seven-piece garden dining set, comprising a rectangular table and six folding chairs.

The table has a powder-coated steel frame and a 5mm tempered-glass top with a central parasol hole. The chairs use breathable Textilene-style seat and back panels over powder-coated frames.

Published furniture dimensions

Approximate dimensions are:

The chairs fold to reduce the storage space required when the complete seating capacity is not needed.

Tempered-glass dining surface

The 150 × 90cm tabletop provides space for six place settings, drinks and shared serving dishes.

The central parasol aperture is not essential beneath the pergola but may remain useful if the furniture is repositioned elsewhere in the garden.

The glass should be protected from hard impacts, extreme concentrated heat and sudden thermal shock. Hot barbecue trays and cookware should be placed on suitable heat-resistant mats rather than directly onto the glass.

Folding dining chairs

The folding design makes it easier to:

• Move the furniture for cleaning

Although the furniture is intended for garden use, dry storage or a suitable furniture cover will help extend its usable life.

The upgraded dinnerware is the simpa 18-piece white porcelain set, providing six complete place settings.

The dinnerware is described as microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe.

Porcelain can chip or break if dropped onto paving. It should be stored in a clean, dry indoor location or inside a cabinet expressly suitable for hygienic dinnerware storage.

TUKAILAi three-tier serving trolley

The included TUKAILAi stainless-steel serving trolley provides movable space for transporting food, plates and drinks between the barbecue and dining table.

It includes:

Using the trolley

The three shelves can be used to separate stages of service, for example:

• Clean plates and bowls on the upper shelf

• Condiments or serving dishes on the middle shelf

• Empty plates or non-food accessories on the lower shelf

The locking castors help keep the trolley stationary while food is being served.

It must be placed on a smooth, level surface and should not be rolled across uneven paving while carrying hot food, glassware or heavy loads.

Although it is made from stainless steel, it should be wiped dry and stored under suitable cover when it is not being used.

Outdoor kitchen storage cabinet

A separate outdoor kitchen cabinet is included for organising appropriate cooking and dining accessories.

It may be used for suitable items such as:

The cabinet should not automatically be treated as fully waterproof, airtight, food-safe or suitable for storing electrical equipment or gas cylinders.

Gas cylinders, cleaning chemicals, food and moisture-sensitive equipment should only be stored inside where the cabinet manufacturer expressly confirms that the intended use is suitable.

Planning the complete layout

A 4×3m pergola provides substantially more room than the Essentials package, but this remains a large collection of furniture and equipment.

The setup includes:

The nominal 4×3m dimensions represent the pergola’s external footprint. Clear internal space will be reduced by:

• Pergola posts

• Structural framework

• Blind runners

• Heater positioning

• Base plates and fixings

• Required access around the furniture

It is unlikely that every component can be safely operated entirely beneath the pergola at the same time while maintaining the barbecue’s required clearance.

Recommended operating layout

For many gardens, the most practical arrangement will be:

1. Position the dining table and chairs beneath the pergola.

2. Place the storage cabinet in a dry position that does not obstruct the blinds.

3. Keep the trolley close to the open side for serving.

4. Position the fridge in a properly protected and ventilated location.

5. Wheel the barbecue to the fully open edge or outside the pergola before lighting it.

6. Fully open the roof and raise all blinds during cooking.

7. Keep a clear route between the barbecue, trolley and table.

8. Allow the barbecue to cool completely before covering or repositioning it.

Base requirements

The pergola, dining set, fridge, trolley, cabinet and barbecue must be positioned on a stable and level base.

Suitable prepared surfaces may include:

• Concrete

• Correctly installed paving

• Structurally suitable reinforced decking

• Other stable, non-combustible surfaces

Grass, soft soil, loose gravel and significantly uneven paving may not provide a safe or stable base.

The pergola must be securely anchored in accordance with its foundation and wind-loading instructions.

Electrical requirements

The pergola heater, roof lighting and drinks fridge require suitable electrical supplies.

The installation should provide:

• RCD-protected electricity

• Outdoor-rated sockets where required

• Protection from rain and standing water

• Safe cable routes

• No trailing leads across walkways

• Adequate capacity for the combined electrical load

• Separation between electrical equipment and the barbecue

• Protection from heat, grease and sharp furniture edges

Any new outdoor socket or fixed electrical connection should be completed by a competent electrician.

Heater and barbecue operation

The integrated pergola heater is intended to improve comfort around the dining area.

It must not be used in a position where it directs heat towards:

• The gas cylinder

• Gas hose or regulator

• Fridge

• Storage cabinet

• Blind material

• Barbecue controls

• Other heat-sensitive or combustible items

Do not lower the blinds or close the roof in an attempt to retain heat while the barbecue is lit. Ventilation and combustion safety take priority.

Installation

Installation is not included as standard unless specifically stated in your order.

Our pergolas are supplied as self-assembly pergola kits, delivered across the UK. Pergola assembly will normally require:

• Two to three capable adults

• A properly prepared base

• Appropriate tools

• Accurate measurement and levelling

• Secure mechanical fixing

The barbecue, table, trolley and cabinet may also require separate assembly.

Every product must be assembled, positioned and used according to its own manufacturer instructions.

Delivery

We deliver across mainland UK. Estimated lead times will be confirmed during checkout or in your order confirmation.

Because this bundle contains products from several manufacturers, it will arrive in more than one delivery. Components may:
