How is the timber protected from the weather?+

The timber is pressure treated for outdoor use and finished in the colour you choose. An occasional clean and a fresh coat of exterior wood treatment every few years keeps it at its best.

Can I paint or stain my pergola a different colour?+

Wooden pergolas can be repainted or stained with a good quality exterior wood treatment once installed, so you are not locked into the original colour. Aluminium frames are powder coated and are best kept in their factory finish.

How much maintenance does a pergola need?+

Wooden pergolas benefit from an occasional clean and a fresh coat of exterior wood treatment every few years to keep the finish at its best. Aluminium pergolas need very little beyond a wipe down, as the powder coated frame will not rot or rust. Our maintenance guide has a full seasonal checklist.

How long does delivery take?+

Most pergolas are delivered free of charge within 5 to 10 working days. Larger or made to order specifications may take a little longer, and we will always confirm a date with you before dispatch.
