Like any exterior timber finish, the soft sage tone mellows gradually in sunlight rather than changing suddenly. Most customers find it settles naturally among planting within a season, and a light re-coat every few years keeps it looking its best.

Wooden pergolas can be repainted or stained with a good quality exterior wood treatment once installed, so you are not locked into the original colour. Aluminium frames are powder coated and are best kept in their factory finish.
